Job Summary

Drive Spreetail’s fulfillment-center safety program by owning both strategic oversight and hands-on day-to-day execution. Lead walk-throughs, incident investigations, training delivery, safety audits, and compliance assurance across all shifts. Manage OSHA recordables, regulatory exposure, safety training completion, emergency response readiness, and workers’ compensation claims—independently in the absence of Safety Supervisors to keep operations audit-ready.

Key Responsibilities

•Own key ORIR and LTI safety rates and use operational data to identify root causes, driving corrective and preventative actions to completion.
•Ensure OSHA recordables are documented accurately, investigated thoroughly, and corrective actions are closed on time with integrated Operations support.
•Support staffing and associates by ensuring new hire and PIT safety training completion stays at or above 95%, including onboarding before first shift.
•Conduct and score monthly safety audits, track open items to closure, and drive continual improvement quarter over quarter.
•Manage emergency response plans, evacuation procedures, first aid resources, and workers’ compensation claims, including modified duty and timely reporting.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 80,000 - 120,000 annually

Key Requirements

•3+ years of safety or EHS experience, ideally in production, warehouse, distribution, or e-fulfillment environments.
•Formal or extensive regulatory experience and exposure, including responsibility for OSHA logs, complaints, and onsite support.
•Experience supporting multi-shift operations, including night or weekend shifts.
•Hands-on experience conducting Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), safety audits, incident investigations, and root cause analyses.
•Ability to own and execute integrated safety programs independently, with comfort being a floor-level presence.
