Job Summary

Lead the RCCAC joint venture business in Chengdu as General Manager, overseeing day-to-day operations and execution of company goals, targets, and metrics. Report to Collins Aerospace’s International OEM PMO lead while also reporting daily to the RCCAC JV Board. Own operational and financial objectives, manage organizational structure and policies, direct departments, and drive budgeting, risk mitigation, staffing, and growth strategy.

Key Responsibilities

•Own execution of operations and/or projects to meet business goals, targets, and metrics.
•Develop and manage short- and long-term organizational goals, and deliver operational and financial objectives, including risk mitigation plans.
•Formulate and manage the JV’s organizational structure, management system, policies, rules, and departmental responsibilities; direct and supervise approved department activities.
•Exercise management powers across operations, finance, and human resources; manage staffing, assess remuneration and benefits, and employ/dismiss department managers and staff.
•Develop and implement annual budget and business plans (including financial budgets, insurance plans, profit distribution, and pricing if applicable) and manage external relations and legal documents as authorized by the Board.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
•Aerospace/Engineering/Science/Technology-related major preferred; Master’s degree or above (or MBA) is a plus.
•Over 10 years of aviation industry experience, with experience in manufacturing and MRO (manufacturing/maintenance/repair and overhaul) preferred.
•Proven experience leading a team to succeed in a complicated environment.
•Working experience in a Sino-US partnership/JV/project with cross-border, cross-functional, and cross-culture activities.
