•Operate plant machinery as directed while following safety policies and procedures to produce a superior product.
•Read job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
•Set stops or guides to specific lengths using scale, rule, or templates.
•Observe machine operation to detect product defects or machine malfunctions and review products for inconsistencies or abnormal appearances.
•Perform routine machine maintenance, assist other operators with setups, and maintain clear, orderly housekeeping in assigned areas.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalent, or at least one month of related experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
•Minimum 3 years of experience operating production machines.
•Basic understanding of electronics and programmable controllers.

•Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
