Key Responsibilities

  • •Define technology roadmaps and engineering standards; drive adoption with the team and across Addepar
  • •Design, develop, and implement robust API services to support our rapidly growing European customer base
  • •Mentor, coach, and empower other engineers, contributing to an inclusive and high-performing team culture
  • •Debug and troubleshoot issues across the entire application stack
  • •Collaborate effectively with other engineers, product managers and stakeholders, in line with our company values outlined below

Key Requirements

  • •Extensive experience in software development, including building backend services in a professional environment
  • •Deep knowledge of software design patterns, API design, and the software development lifecycle
  • •Proven ability to influence technical direction and make significant contributions to the architecture of complex, distributed systems that handle data at scale
  • •Experience building services with Java, SQL and AWS
  • •Excellent communication and leadership skills
