Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain the tool room, ensuring tools are stored orderly for efficient pick up and delivery.
  • •Issue, record, dispatch, and verify tools for technicians per delivery notes; conduct audits of technicians’ tool boxes and report discrepancies.
  • •Coordinate procurement and inter-toolroom transfers via WTC when tools are unavailable at the location; ensure timely delivery and handle damage/loss with replacements/refunds.
  • •Track maintenance schedules, coordinate repairs with suppliers, and monitor lubricant levels in tanks placing orders as needed.
  • •Oversee compliance with government fire, health, safety, and environment regulations, including maintaining fire extinguishers and ensuring emergency doors are not blocked.

Key Requirements

  • •Receive requirements for special tools/diagnostic equipment from franchises and coordinate purchasing requests with the Workshop Tools Coordinator (WTC).
  • •2 years of experience in stores.
  • •Attention to details and confident, good interpersonal skills.
  • •Ability to work with Microsoft Office Excel.
  • •Follow procedures for tool issuance/verification, replacements, and cost recovery for negligence-related breakage.
