Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop, scope, and manage small-sized projects.
  • •Develop and manage subsurface investigations and laboratory testing programs.
  • •Perform geotechnical engineering analysis and support civil layout, grading, and/or drainage design.
  • •Prepare engineering design reports, drawings, technical specifications, and/or engineer’s estimates, including landfill permitting and design support.
  • •Support construction quality assurance, interact with clients and regulatory agencies, and train junior staff.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum Bachelors of Science degree in Geotechnical, Geological or Civil Engineering.
  • •5–7 years of experience in geotechnical, geological and/or civil engineering design and/or construction.
  • •Registration as Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or recent Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • •Experience in construction quality assurance, solid waste/landfill design, geotechnical evaluations, earthworks construction and/or soils testing, and preparing permitting and construction documents.
  • •Excellent verbal and written communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
