Job Summary

Provide technical leadership for structural engineering deliverables across transportation and major infrastructure projects. Perform structural analysis and calculations, verify drawings for accuracy and compliance, develop technical specifications, and support PS&E package work through all discipline steps. Lead, mentor, and supervise engineers and CAD technicians, collaborate with clients and regulatory authorities to expedite approvals, and publish technical insights while supporting regional projects beyond Malaysia.

•Perform structural analysis and calculations and create design sketches and drawings for transportation structures.
•Conduct engineering assessments and evaluations, prepare technical reports, and verify design calculations and drawings.
•Lead, supervise, guide, and mentor a team of engineers and CAD technicians for consultancy delivery on infrastructure and transportation projects.
•Collaborate with clients, sub-consultants, and regulatory authorities to gather design information, present alternatives, and expedite approvals.
•Develop study and design procedures, prepare technical specifications, contribute to engineering budgets and schedules, and provide signing/lead verification as a PE.

•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil, Structural, or Geotechnical Engineering.
•Registered as a Professional Engineer with a Practicing Certificate (preferably).
•More than 12 years of structural design experience, especially in underground, basement, heavy structures, and transportation-related projects.
•Proven experience leading teams of engineers and CAD technicians delivering major infrastructure and transportation projects.
•Technical leadership expertise in soil-structure interaction and deep excavation works.
