Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage costs aspects of civil and building works from inception to final account, ensuring expenditure is minimized and revenue maximized without harming employer/subcontractor relationships.
  • •Coordinate with site construction and technical teams to collect progress details and manage client site instructions and variation orders.
  • •Ensure timely submission of payment applications, interim valuations, and subcontract payment certificates to the employer, including back-to-back variation documentation.
  • •Prepare and monitor cash flow and budgets monthly, and produce cost-to-complete reports and profitability projections within one week of valuation submission.
  • •Place subcontract packages on standard approved terms and templates, ensure packages and tendering procedures are correctly conformed and coordinated.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of working experience with 5 years relevant quantity surveying experience in civil/building works.
  • •Strong knowledge of quantity surveying principles including Principles of Measurement (International) 1979, NRM2, CESSMMIII, QSSM, QCS, and FIDIC.
  • •Experience using CCS (Candy) for computer-based quantification and knowledge of quantity takeoff workflows.
  • •Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and optimal use of AutoCAD for quantity takeoff.
  • •ERP knowledge, preferably SAP functional skills; professional qualification in quantity surveying or related field.
