Key Responsibilities

  • •Partner with NI customers, sales, engineering, and alliance partners to define, document, design, and deploy NI products tailored to customer requirements for turnkey engineering solutions.
  • •Support semiconductor test engineering activities across test program structure, hardware design, and fixture design to deliver customer solutions.
  • •Generate requirements documents, finalize statements of work, define project plans, manage milestones, and run reviews to ensure readiness for deployment.
  • •Validate analog and digital circuit design based on Device Under Test requirements; participate in creating integrated NI modular hardware for turnkey test systems and evaluate reliability, testing accuracy, and cost of test.
  • •Travel to customer sites to support system development, resolve NI system issues, improve tester performance with customers and contract manufacturers, and provide guidance for system operation.

Key Requirements

  • •B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Electronics Engineering Technology (or higher).
  • •3+ years of relevant industry experience in system design, application engineering, technical field sales, or test engineering design.
  • •Experience with RFIC or mixed-signal IC testing/validation, including test engineering for RF FEM, on-wafer test, IPD, ADC/DAC, LED, MEMS sensor, and PMIC (as applicable).
  • •Experience with software and system development, including test case development, using text-based programming such as C++, VB, or Java.
  • •Experience with semiconductor ATE platforms and test instruments (e.g., V93000/Ultra/J750/Pax; SMU/VSA/VSG/VST/VNA; power meter), plus knowledge of measurement error, instrumentation selection, and hardware/software integration.
