Job Summary

Senior Contracts Manager leading non-product procurement and digital technology contracts for a global aerospace leader. You will review, draft and negotiate supplier, licensing and maintenance agreements, drive continuous improvement in contracting processes, manage disputes, and collaborate with legal, procurement and IT teams to mitigate risk and maximize business value from RTX Core initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide primary contract support for non-product procurement at Pratt & Whitney Canada.
•Provide contract support for digital technologies procurement at Pratt & Whitney Canada.
•Review, draft and negotiate contracts with suppliers, service providers, and third-party vendors for indirect procurement categories (IT, marketing, logistics, HR, facilities) while ensuring compliance with ethics, policies and procedures.
•Conduct contractual analyses of existing agreements to identify risks and opportunities and provide actionable recommendations to mitigate disputes and improve performance.
•Assist in resolution of contract disputes and commercial issues.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in law and seven to ten years of legal and contract experience drafting and negotiating agreements for a large multinational company.
•Extensive experience reviewing, drafting and negotiating procurement and software license, maintenance and support agreements.
•Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively under pressure.
•Ability to independently identify legal, IP, global trade and commercial risks of a proposed transaction and obtain appropriate terms.
•Ability to balance commercial and legal considerations and use leverage to obtain the best overall outcome for Pratt & Whitney Canada.
