Key Responsibilities

  • •Prepare, submit, and track export license submissions using U.S. Government regulations and published guidance.
  • •Interface with internal customers to obtain information needed for license submissions and maintain filings throughout the license lifecycle.
  • •Prepare export license/TAA submissions and support Technical Assistance Agreement preparation with Program Managers at a technical level.
  • •Provide approval authority and guidance for license exemptions, foreign travel, foreign visitors, and document markings/technical data transfers.
  • •Prepare weekly licensing status reports and assist the Sr. Manager with U.S. Government reporting requirements.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree and 2-3 years direct Trade Compliance export authorization experience.
  • •Experience preparing, submitting, and adjudicating export licenses, with working knowledge of EAR and ITAR licensing regulations.
  • •Experience with exemptions/exception requirements, including approving BIS Exceptions and DDTC Exemptions.
  • •Extensive experience creating and submitting DDTC and BIS export licenses, with mastery of DECCS and SNAP-R.
  • •Ability to interpret regulatory requirements and provide guidance to stakeholders, with auditing experience and strong attention to detail.
