Job Summary

Lead and coordinate electrical building services design work within WSP’s India MEP capacity in Noida, aligning project briefs, deliverables, fees, and resourcing to time, cost, and quality targets. Ensure technical reviews, sign-offs, and compliance with global building regulations, health & safety, and quality standards. Manage multiple projects, review CAD outputs, support energy strategy development, and establish and grow a GCC design team through recruitment, training, mentoring, and KPI reporting.

Key Responsibilities

•Align electrical project briefs, deliverables, programmes, resourcing, and fees in conjunction with stakeholders, ensuring delivery against time, cost, and quality targets.
•Ensure quality of detailed design to WSP India and Global Building Regulations standards, including technical reviews and sign-off with complex calculations and coordination.
•Coordinate designs with due consideration of Health & Safety, Construction Design Management, and Quality Assurance standards.
•Review outputs of computer-aided design analysis and determine additional checking levels; develop energy strategies with renewable technologies and low-energy design where needed for Building Regulations Part L compliance.
•Lead design and project delivery, manage fees/invoicing and project-resource planning, mentor junior team members, and support establishment and growth of the GCC design team through recruitment, training, and KPI monitoring.

Key Requirements

•Proven experience in the design of building services with significant experience in a similar role, demonstrating a strong track record.
•Proven experience in the design of engineering building services.
•Conversant with technical mechanical or electrical software such as IES, Amtech, Hevacomp, Relux, and Dialux.
•Strong knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Project.
•Fluent in English with an excellent understanding of technical terminology (ideally with British Chartered Engineer status or equivalent, plus a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree and membership to an accredited engineering body).
