Key Responsibilities

•Conduct structured inspections of AV self-driving system hardware (LiDAR, Radar, cameras, ultrasonic sensors, compute units) and perform pre-deployment readiness validations.
•Verify sensor hardware installation, alignment, physical condition, and connectivity using defined inspection checklists and partner SOPs.
•Perform mechanical inspection and integrity checks for mounting hardware, fasteners, wiring harness routing/strain relief, enclosures, seals, and IP rated fittings; inspect underbody/chassis after maintenance.
•Execute hardware performance tests and support calibration procedures for LiDAR, Radar, and camera systems; operate onboard diagnostic tools and assess hardware health/data quality.
•Identify, document, and escalate hardware defects and sensor anomalies through non-conformance processes; maintain audit-ready inspection/test records and support root-cause work when issues arise.

Key Requirements

•Diploma or bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field preferred.
•2 to 5 years of experience in hardware testing, electronics QA, light mechanical maintenance, or AV/automotive technical operations.
•Hands-on experience with optical, electrical, or sensor hardware; LiDAR or Radar familiarity is a strong advantage.
•Practical experience with mechanical assembly, fastener systems, torque tools, and basic vehicle maintenance.
•Comfortable operating diagnostic tools and onboard vehicle systems, with strong attention to detail and methodical inspection, testing, and documentation.
