Job Summary

Own month-end financial activities including GST reporting, BAS reconciliation, and Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) compliance. Prepare and coordinate tax compliance work for GST and income tax support, including tax control testing and financial statement information for Australia and New Zealand entities. Manage contractor administration, payroll administration via Astute systems, and support Accounts Receivable with Xero invoice processing. Produce monthly and ad hoc financial reporting and drive continuous process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

•Handle month-end financial activities including GST reporting, BAS reconciliation, and FBT compliance.
•Prepare and coordinate tax compliance tasks, including GST returns and income tax return support, plus tax control testing and financial statement information for Australia and New Zealand entities.
•Manage contractor administration such as contractor profiles, prepaid hours updates, service agreement creation, and ConnectWise ticket administration.
•Coordinate fortnightly payroll administration, including employee and contractor timesheet processing through Astute and related payroll systems.
•Support Accounts Receivable with Xero invoice processing and AP billing coordination; prepare monthly and ad hoc financial reports and drive continuous process improvements.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
•Minimum 5 years' experience in Finance, Accounting, or Shared Services environment.
•Experience with GST, FBT, or tax compliance activities.
•Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills; experience with Xero, ConnectWise, Astute, or similar ERP systems is advantageous.
•Strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail with strong stakeholder management and communication.
