Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage projects through their complete life cycle, ensuring goals for Canonical and the client are met.
  • •Deliver engineering professional services for assigned projects and oversee delivery.
  • •Collaborate with engineering teams on custom board enablement and delivery of Ubuntu images.
  • •Develop and maintain project statements of work and project plans/schedules.
  • •Communicate daily/weekly status with clients and internal stakeholders; manage third-party deliverables.

Key Requirements

  • •Solid project management experience delivering engineering services to customers and managing software development teams and field engineers.
  • •Extensive experience managing projects with cross-cultural/multi-continent resources (Asia, Europe, Americas).
  • •Educational degree preferably in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math.
  • •Good knowledge of Linux and the wider Open Source Software community, and understanding of computer architecture.
  • •Excellent communications skills in English; PMP/PMI or PRINCE2 Practitioner certification preferred.
