Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and drive EHS strategy, governance, and compliance framework aligned to company standards and Karnataka statutory requirements.
  • •Ensure full compliance with regulations and manage statutory licenses, approvals, consents, permits, Fire NOCs, hazardous waste authorizations, and environmental clearances.
  • •Act as primary liaison with regulatory authorities and coordinate government inspections, statutory audits, and regulatory visits with timely closure of observations.
  • •Develop and implement site EHS objectives, annual improvement plans, compliance programs, KPIs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • •Lead safety and process safety practices including hazard identification, risk assessments, process safety reviews/HAZOP, PTW/LOTO/confined space/work at height/hot work, and manage incident investigations with corrective/preventive actions.

Key Requirements

  • •Regular bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Civil/Environmental with Post Diploma/Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety from a reputed institute.
  • •8 to 10 years of work experience preferred.
  • •Lead EHS strategy, governance, and compliance for a manufacturing site.
  • •Ensure compliance with applicable regulations (e.g., Factories Act, Environment Protection Act, Karnataka rules and labour requirements).
  • •Manage statutory licenses, approvals, consents, permits, and regulatory documentation and returns within timelines.
