Key Responsibilities

  • •Work with RTOs/ISOs and utilities to enhance Generation Queue position through the interconnection process.
  • •Review and analyze interconnection studies and support development by briefing costs and next steps.
  • •Respond to deficiencies related to technical modeling (e.g., PSSE, PSCAD, short circuit).
  • •Run powerflow studies to validate or challenge interconnection study results.
  • •Track timelines, milestones, and regulatory developments in assigned markets to help minimize transmission-related risks.
Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; Master’s degree preferred.
  • •3–5 years in the utility industry with generation interconnection experience.
  • •Knowledge of PSSE and power flow software (steady state, dynamic, short circuit, transient stability).
  • •Familiarity with programming skills such as Python, Java, and SQL.
  • •Proficient in Microsoft Office; Microsoft Project familiarity is preferred.
