Job Summary

Join TikTok’s Global eCommerce Legal Business Partner team to lead EU compliance matters for product features and data governance. You’ll serve as the primary legal point of contact for EU/UK business clients, collaborate with regulatory/privacy/IP/competition teams, and provide actionable legal guidance on requirements under the DSA, DMA, GDPR, and related national laws. You’ll also support product feature reviews, AIGC/data compliance, and maintain local-language terms and conditions.

Key Responsibilities

•Serve as the primary legal point of contact for supporting business clients in the EU and UK (initially), engaging with product, engineering, and business teams.
•Collaborate cross-functionally with regulatory, privacy, IP, and competition legal teams to deliver unified legal advice.
•Lead legal review of product features, algorithm/data usage, and other business initiatives under EU and national laws.
•Partner with public policy teams on legal risks and mitigation strategies for high-impact projects.
•Maintain and update online terms and conditions in local languages across EU markets.

Key Requirements

•Midlevel lawyer qualified in France, Italy, Poland, or Spain.
•Strong experience in EU legislation and national laws, with expertise in consumer protection, privacy, antitrust, and IP.
•Strong drafting and negotiation experience, particularly in retail, digital content, and advertising-related agreements.
•Excellent communication and presentation skills to distil complex legal issues into actionable guidance.
•Proven ability to manage multiple projects independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
