Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the Comms product area end to end (why/what/how) within the Client Platform, reporting into the domain product lead.
  • •Set the long-term vision and define/prioritize the roadmap for scalable Comms services (Push Notifications, Attachments, Statements, in-platform Chat) alongside evolving the Email service.
  • •Learn current implementations, identify bottlenecks holding the business back, and design services that unlock the next phase of platform and client needs.
  • •Work embedded with engineering to shape technical approaches, influence architecture/trade-offs, and unblock delivery from within.
  • •Establish and track success metrics (deliverability, engagement, latency, reliability) and gather feedback from teams and clients to iterate.

Key Requirements

  • •2-3+ years in product for a fintech or SaaS business, ideally scaling/re-platforming an existing capability, or a strong engineering/technical background moving into product.
  • •Strong builder’s instinct to re-architect working capabilities into standalone, scalable services without breaking client dependencies.
  • •Technical fluency to participate in architecture discussions, follow system diagrams or code reviews, and collaborate with engineers as a peer.
  • •Systems thinking for designing long-term communications infrastructure across email, push, documents, and live chat.
  • •Metric-driven approach to set baselines/targets, use data to prioritize, and comfortably use modern tools including AI.
