Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and develop power electronic software and specifications for motor controls for power tools and outdoor products.
  • •Manage a few people to ensure deliverables are on time and meet quality expectations.
  • •Generate application-level embedded code from the platform and implement/validate electronic designs via test and MATLAB simulation.
  • •Develop software verification and validation procedures including unit and integration testing.
  • •Translate customer requirements into software specifications and support solutions for electronic system issues within a project team.

Key Requirements

  • •Master’s degree from an accredited electrical or automation engineering college.
  • •10+ years of experience in research/product development of embedded firmware.
  • •Extensive embedded microcontroller development experience in C/C++ with motor control (field-oriented, sensor/sensorless, closed-loop feedback for AC/DC).
  • •Experience writing and debugging embedded firmware using software development controls like static analysis, version control, unit testing, and bug tracking.
  • •Experience managing more than 3 team members in parallel and working with Agile or V model development; handle multiple concurrent projects.
