Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform selection, vaccination, blood pull, movement, and clean out of Cobb products/facilities.
  • •Load Cobb products into modules and onto trucks for transport to designated processing plants.
  • •Clean and disinfect Cobb poultry houses, vehicles, modules, and equipment.
  • •Support additional farm duties as assigned, such as participating in research trials and collecting samples for health inspections.
  • •Follow biosecurity/animal welfare/safety requirements and comply with PPE and safety policies.

Key Requirements

  • •Must have at least 12 months of consecutive work history with one employer and no employment gaps greater than 6 months in the past 36 months (up to 18 months with certain circumstances).
  • •Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job, including regularly lifting/moving 30 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds.
  • •Must follow biosecurity and animal welfare requirements, including showering and changing clothing/footwear before entering the facility.
  • •No jewelry may be worn on the jobsite except for medical ID jewelry and body piercings covered by appropriate clothing; must be willing to sign required agreements.
  • •Must be able to work the Monday–Friday schedule (hours listed as 5:00 am–1:00 pm, subject to production needs).
