  • •Generate well-designed tests based on consumer expectations and intended use for unique products.
  • •Support test recommendations with statistical analysis to define test severity versus nominal use.
  • •Confirm new tests produce effective, repeatable results and document procedures for global lab partners.
  • •Serve as a product validation expert on core project teams and develop creative solutions to simulate consumer behavior.
  • •Collaborate with data analytics, industrial design, and product management to collect expected use data and determine testing baselines.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Material Science, Chemistry, or similar area preferred.
  • •At least 5 years of design qualification experience establishing, testing, and evaluating product qualifications against specifications.
  • •Advanced knowledge of industry standards for product design and testing.
  • •Strong technical background including heat transfer, impact, vibration, abrasion, environmental, life/cycle testing, material validation, and process validation.
  • •Proven ability to design and build test equipment and develop detailed technical documentation for lab execution.
