Key Responsibilities

  • •Translate market requirements into development processes for new masterbatch products tailored to specific country locations.
  • •Manage masterbatch development using the Accolade stage-gate process and regional procedures, including monitoring gate advancement and project duration.
  • •Support new product/formula registration and production scale-up, including preparation of technical data sheets and composition declarations.
  • •Support new raw material approval by performing qualification tests of raw materials and finished goods.
  • •Oversee PAD lab/technical center operations, drive training needs analysis for the PAD team, and control costs within budget while supporting environmental management responsibilities.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Science, Polymer, or a related field (Master’s/doctorate preferred).
  • •Minimum 8 years of technical/research and development/quality control experience in polymer, plastic masterbatch, additives or color, and plastics extrusion.
  • •Basic knowledge of ISO 9001.
  • •Technical knowledge of polymer/plastics extrusion, pigments, additives, basic organic chemistry, and analytical chemistry.
  • •Strong analytical thinking and project management skills.
