Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure accuracy of balance sheet inventory valuation and support external audit substantiation for Airbus UK.
  • •Manage month-end transactions and inventory-related financial reporting for corporate reporting with strong inventory data quality review.
  • •Partner with financial controlling and operations stakeholders on key inventory management topics such as stock counts, slow move review, obsolescence, coverage, storage location rationalisation, and stock at vendor.
  • •Represent accounting to establish clear accountability and ownership for inventory review and strategic decisions.
  • •Understand technical inventory flows in SAP and support the business on anomalous transactions/processes to deliver correct financial output, including inventory query support and education.
