Key Responsibilities

  • •Service and repair vehicle-powered road transport refrigeration units.
  • •Optimise and maintain engineer van stock to enhance service delivery to MFS customers.
  • •Carry out daily safety checks on the company van and ensure adherence to health & safety procedures.
  • •Maintain product and customer requirements knowledge to meet ISO9002 standards and undertake training/self-development via Certi-Tech.
  • •Coordinate with central control/service centre on job start/completion times, downtime/overtime authorisation, and complete required paperwork/PDA for invoicing while keeping customers informed.

Key Requirements

  • •Mechanical and/or refrigeration experience, with the ability to work with minimal day-to-day supervision.
  • •Be computer literate with excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • •Desirable: GCSEs in Mathematics and English.
  • •Desirable: F-Gas 2079 plus electrical and mechanical certificates.
  • •Desirable: experience working in a mechanical environment and ability to read wiring diagrams.
