Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform painting on light and heavy equipment using accepted trade methods and painting materials.
  • •Determine the best methods, techniques, devices, and materials for required surface finish.
  • •Prepare surfaces using grinding, sanding, smoothing, filling, shaping, and leveling.
  • •Mix and apply pre-coating agents; tint, tone, match, blend, and mix additives for coating materials.
  • •Maintain the paint booth and set up/adjust/perform booth maintenance; follow CARC paint procedures and move equipment in/out of the booth.

Key Requirements

  • •High school graduate or equivalent.
  • •Three years of painting experience (military or civilian).
  • •Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and background screening.
  • •Ability to receive a favorable TIER-1 investigation result, obtain and maintain a CAC.
  • •Possess a REAL ID-compliant, state-issued driver’s license.
