Key Responsibilities

  • •Own reliable backend services and API integrations in production.
  • •Design, develop, and review backend services and API integrations to a high engineering standard.
  • •Evolve orchestration and gateway components across workflow steps, partner API clients, internal service APIs, and activation interfaces.
  • •Partner with Product and lead engineers to turn requirements into durable production services and integrations.
  • •Establish production standards for CI/CD, testing, API contract testing, observability, auditability, and safe releases.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years (or equivalent) of production ownership in backend, platform, or API-focused roles.
  • •Track record delivering and operating backend services, integrations, or platforms at meaningful scale.
  • •Strong proficiency in at least one backend language such as Python, Go, or Java/Kotlin (Python preferred).
  • •Experience designing and operating REST/HTTP APIs and event- or workflow-driven systems (async jobs, queues, durable state, orchestration).
  • •Experience with third-party and internal integrations including authentication, error handling, versioning, and monitoring.
