Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the development, calibration, and verification of wastewater network models (e.g., InfoWorks ICM or similar platforms).
  • •Provide technical oversight and quality assurance across multiple projects, guiding wider project teams as needed.
  • •Oversee technical and administrative tasks related to hydrology and groundwater investigations that inform wastewater modelling studies.
  • •Analyse complex datasets and modelling outputs, preparing clear technical reports and client deliverables.
  • •Act as technical lead on major frameworks and modelling programmes, supporting storm overflow reduction and network resilience initiatives; mentor junior team members and support bids/business development.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree (BEng/MEng or MSc) in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Water Resources, or a related discipline.
  • •Extensive experience in wastewater network modelling within a consultancy or water utility environment.
  • •Strong proficiency in industry-standard modelling software (e.g., InfoWorks ICM).
  • •Strong understanding of UK water industry regulations, AMP cycles, and wastewater planning frameworks.
  • •Proven ability to lead projects and provide technical direction; Chartered status (CEng) or working towards chartership is desirable.
