Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure effective, timely delivery of contractual maintenance obligations while maintaining compliance with JSP375.
  • •Produce high-quality risk assessments and method statements, and assess the competence of skilled personnel.
  • •Provide technical support and professional advice on MOD Safe Systems of Work to site teams, supply chain partners, and end users.
  • •Support project work by collaborating with senior management and identifying deficiencies impacting estate safety and compliance.
  • •Supervise, assess, and coach Skilled Persons to ensure safe operation within regulations.

Key Requirements

  • •Fully qualified Mechanical or Electrical Engineer.
  • •Ideally hold AP tickets in Electrical or Mechanical (AP tickets training can be provided).
  • •Significant experience with Safe Systems of Work, particularly JSP375 operational delivery.
  • •Confident problem-solver and able to work independently across multiple sites.
  • •UK driving license and willingness to travel across sites and support out-of-hours on-call when required.
