Job Summary

Lead the technical and commercial management of the airline’s Engine and APU portfolio, ensuring powerplant reliability, regulatory compliance, and cost-effective maintenance. Manage engine/APU shop visits, aircraft delivery/redelivery activities, OEM and MRO coordination, and timely closure of advisories (ADs/SBs/SLs), CNRs, and inspections. Drive budget planning, cost control, and initiatives to reduce engineering delays and AOG occurrences, while managing and coaching a team.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage the technical performance of a sizeable A320 Family fleet (CEO and NEO) fitted with CFM56 and LEAP engines.
•Ensure sufficient Engine and APU spares to prevent AOG events and coordinate delivery/redelivery and shop-visit execution with contractual and cost control requirements.
•Liaise with engine and APU OEMs to develop short- and long-term solutions, and manage follow-up on OEM advisories and CNRs to ensure timely closure.
•Oversee scrap evaluations and piece-part inspections in coordination with OEMs and MROs, and define compliance strategies based on engine/APU technical publications (ADs, SBs, SLs).
•Lead budget planning, cost control, and optimization for powerplant maintenance activities, coordinating with CAMO, MCC, Planning, QA, Operations, and other stakeholders while managing the team.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Aeronautical, Electro-mechanical Engineering, or related field.
•Strong expertise in engine/APU shop visits, borescope inspections, and delivery/redelivery activities.
•Proven ability in cost control and contract management.
•Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
•In-depth knowledge of CAMO and regulatory frameworks (GCAA preferred).
