Key Responsibilities

•Work alongside our largest customers to resolve complex questions on architecture, performance, recovery, security, and related topics.
•Be an expert resource on best practices for running MongoDB at scale and advocate for customer needs by interfacing with product management and development teams.
•Contribute to internal projects, including software development of support tools for performance, benchmarking, and diagnostics.
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand customer workloads and provide holistic problem analysis from application to storage.
•Help customers succeed with MongoDB by applying deep technical knowledge and strong communication skills.

Key Requirements

•5 to 8 years of relevant experience.
•Systems engineering experience, including Linux performance, memory management, I/O tuning, configuration, security, storage, networking, clusters, and troubleshooting.
•Good understanding of Networking concepts and protocols (DNS, TCP/IP, SSL/TLS, etc.).
•Broad awareness of customer workloads and use cases, including performance, availability, and scalability.
•Experience analyzing issues holistically, from the application tier through the database, down to the storage.
