Job Summary

Lead and scale Replit’s communications function across external and internal strategy, building and evolving the corporate narrative as the company grows in AI and agentic software creation. Own communications programs spanning media, analyst relations, executive visibility, customer storytelling, policy communications, crisis response, and global awareness. Partner with the CEO, executive team, and cross-functional leaders to drive coordinated communications across product, engineering, marketing, sales, partnerships, legal, and more.

Key Responsibilities

•Help lead and scale Replit’s communications function, including strategy, team structure, agency management, operating rhythms, and execution standards.
•Develop and evolve Replit’s corporate narrative as the company expands across AI, developer tools, enterprise, consumer, education, and global markets.
•Lead communications programs for announcements, product launches, enterprise momentum, customer stories, partnerships, policy-related issues, awards, events, and thought leadership.
•Partner with the CEO and executive team on positioning, reputation, media strategy, internal communications, and high-stakes moments.
•Manage proactive and reactive communications, including rapid response, issues management, crisis communications, and preparing executives/spokespeople for media and events.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 300,000 - 390,000 annually

Key Requirements

•BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
•12+ years of communications/PR/media/corporate affairs experience (Director) or 15+ years (VP).
•Experience building or significantly expanding a communications function at a fast-growing technology company.
•Proven experience working directly with founders, CEOs, executives, and senior cross-functional leaders.
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to tailor messages for technical and non-technical audiences.
