Job Summary

Develop and implement scalable multi-threaded embedded software in C++ for video systems and related devices. Work on Linux-based applications and drivers, design modules following modern C++ patterns, and troubleshoot low-level performance issues. Apply C for Linux device driver development, collaborate with hardware teams on board bring-up, and maintain firmware build systems using Make and Python. Partner with QA on test cases and regression coverage.

Key Responsibilities

•Design and implement scalable multi-threaded object-oriented software in C++ for high-speed data processing and networking.
•Develop software modules using modern C++ design patterns and create software architecture/algorithm design documents.
•Apply C programming to Linux device driver development and debugging.
•Identify and improve low-level system performance issues and design algorithms for image acquisition parameters under varying conditions.
•Collaborate with hardware on board bring-up/debug, maintain firmware build systems (Make, Python), and partner with QA on test cases and regression testing.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor degree in Computer Engineering or Software Engineering (EE background is a plus).
•Good in writing C or Modern C++ for Linux OS-based embedded systems (Rust experience is a plus).
•Good understanding of the Linux build system (Yocto familiarity is a plus).
•Knowledge of low-level programming for hardware peripherals and drivers.
•Knowledge of networking protocols/connectivity used with embedded systems (e.g., WiFi, Bluetooth).
