Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide guidance for data collection and compilation from water, sludge, and other matrices for projects, investigations, and surveys.
  • •Perform high-level water resources engineering work, including investigations, analysis, inspections, and modeling to support restoration, stormwater, and pollution control efforts.
  • •Oversee and monitor cross-functional teams and execute projects, including budgets, tracking hours/expenses, task completion, permit applications, and compliance documentation.
  • •Develop proposal and project scopes, timelines, pricing, and budget metrics, ensuring planning and work comply with applicable codes and engineering practices.
  • •Coordinate, review, and approve design plans, and prepare technical reports, presentations, tables/charts/models, and engineering and regulatory conclusions.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering with a focus in Water Resources (or closely related).
  • •7 to 10 years of relevant post-education experience in water resources engineering.
  • •Proficient knowledge of water resource engineering principles, design/build, and environmental permitting.
  • •Well-developed knowledge of ecological restoration, stormwater management/drainage, erosion and sediment control, hydrology & hydraulics, watershed studies, and floodplain delineation.
  • •Ability to coordinate with agency regulators and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
