Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure quality production in a safe, environmentally responsible, and efficient manner according to established schedules, procedures, and processes.
  • •Directly manage a rotating 12-hour shift of chemical operators, including one lead person, and support production goals.
  • •Promote Zero Harm tools, lead shift safety/MDI meetings, and serve as Incident Commander for emergency response.
  • •Enter work orders and record production using EMAINT and ERP systems; generate shift reports and complete critical item lists.
  • •Handle product and production issues (involving engineering as needed), manage personnel issues with HR, and deliver shift training with accurate handoffs.

Key Requirements

  • •Associate of Science (AS) degree in Process Technology (or related) with at least 3 years of relevant experience, or 5+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
  • •Previous chemical experience with continuing progression in responsibility.
  • •Provide First Aid and CPR capability (certified) for the role.
  • •Experience following plant safety procedures, including Safe Work Permits and vessel entry/hot work/work at heights/LTT processes.
  • •Ability to work safely with chemicals and meet stated physical requirements (including ability to wear a respirator and lift 35 lbs).
