Key Responsibilities

  • •Build and lead a QS team through resource planning, mentorship, performance reviews, and workload allocation; set up engagement models and transition/mobilisation with UK teams.
  • •Implement QA/QC gates (checklists, peer reviews, senior sign-off) and standardize delivery processes including SOPs, templates, naming conventions, and knowledge repositories.
  • •Provide commercial leadership for UK commissions: lead RIBA Stage 0–4 cost planning, oversee BoQ to NRM/CESMM standards, and manage contractual leadership across NEC/JCT/FIDIC (compensation events, variations, risk, change control).
  • •Lead cost reporting and commercial analysis including cost reporting, CVRs, forecasts, cashflow analysis, and earned value insights; drive procurement strategies and commercial evaluations.
  • •Support work winning and capability building by assisting bids (SQ/PQQ/ITT, fee proposals), creating growth strategies with UK partners, developing team training on UK standards, and championing digital QS reporting (CostX, model-based take-off, structured cost databases).

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying/Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred).
  • •15–20 years of QS/Cost Management experience, including substantial UK project exposure (5 years).
  • •Proven experience leading multi-project teams in a UK–India delivery model and interfacing with UK clients/consultants/contractors.
  • •Strong working knowledge of NEC/JCT (FIDIC familiarity is an advantage) and NRM/CESMM measurement norms.
  • •Evidence of delivering RIBA Stage 0–4 cost planning, CVRs/forecasting, procurement, and change control; advanced CostX and reporting skills are expected.
