Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as the focal point in the Typhoon Support Centre for management and distribution of Typhoon Technical Instructions, including industry airworthiness and RSAF national instructions.
  • •Provide primary interfaces between the RSAF, TTSS, and industry for management and in-service/industry queries, including nationalization of RSAF technical instructions.
  • •Interface with RSAF HQ to support approval and authorization of National Instruction changes and assist fleet management with prioritization and implementation planning.
  • •Coordinate development of RSAF Engineering Authority (EA) National Instructions, including technical validation, compliance, and approval activities; coordinate embedding through the Technical Instructions kit set controller.
  • •Maintain controlled databases for Technical Instructions, support feedback coordination with impact understanding, generate reports/metrics and presentations, and ensure document security policy and ITAR adherence.

Key Requirements

  • •Qualified to HND level (or equivalent) in an Aeronautical / Mechanical / Electrical engineering discipline with significant experience supporting aircraft maintenance and management.
  • •Understand Technical Instructions principles and practices for continuing airworthiness management, including RSAF requirements.
  • •Experience using Technical Instruction Management Systems and Microsoft Office programmes.
  • •Knowledge of modern combat aircraft operations, maintenance, support, and related airworthiness processes.
  • •Familiarity with Typhoon Engineering Support System (ESS) and trilogiView IETP or similar systems; Teamcenter or similar information storage and retrieval systems.
