Job Summary

Provide Health & Safety support for the Louisiana Integrated Polyethylene JV and the Polypropylene site, driving GoalZERO performance through regulatory compliance, continuous improvement, and cost-effective solutions. Own and support site safety programs and OE systems, develop and deliver safety training, run audits and incident investigations, and respond to agency inspections. Serve as an SME for life-critical procedures and lead safety digitization initiatives like e-permitting and auditing systems.

Key Responsibilities

•Identify and resolve safety-related issues and initiate continuous improvement programs to achieve GoalZERO performance.
•Own, support, and provide action plans for site safety programs and OE systems (standards, directives, advisories, and LFEs).
•Develop, implement, and deliver safety and health policies, procedures, and training; perform audits/assessments to sustain compliance.
•Lead, participate in, and support incident investigations and resolve questions related to safe execution of field work activities.
•Provide regulatory interpretation and technical advice; review/approve MOCs and participate in capital project risk evaluation and recommendation.

Key Requirements

•B.S. or M.S. degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Industrial Hygiene, or a related technical discipline.
•Minimum of 6 years of relevant safety and health experience in a petrochemical facility or related industries.
•In-depth knowledge of safety and health regulatory compliance programs for the chemical manufacturing industry.
•Experience developing and/or managing safety and health systems.
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with HSES, Operations, employees, and contractors.
