Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide specialist subject-matter expertise on complex performance fee methodologies, including NAV based, equalisation, series of shares, and investor-level/bespoke alternative fee structures.
  • •Support client onboarding, fund launches, and transitions by reviewing performance fee arrangements and ensuring operational readiness across fund accounting and related teams.
  • •Review fund prospectuses, offering documents, investment management requirements, worked examples, and client specifications to ensure performance fee models align with legal documentation and client expectations.
  • •Perform independent review and approval of performance fee calculation models, templates, worked examples, and supporting logic documentation before implementation or change.
  • •Identify and respond to operational risk across the performance fee lifecycle and lead/support strategic projects involving performance fee automation.

Key Requirements

  • •Extensive fund accounting, private markets, performance fee, or investment operations experience with recognized subject-matter expertise.
  • •Current knowledge of regulatory expectations and the ability to interpret complex performance fee methodologies and calculation mechanics.
  • •Experience reviewing fund legal documentation and client specifications (including worked examples and calculation models) to align performance fee models with legal and operational requirements.
  • •Experience interacting with senior management, governance committees, clients, auditors, vendors, and external stakeholders on performance fee matters.
  • •Strong PC/Excel and analytical modelling skills, with project management training or experience preferred.
