Job Summary

Transport ready mix concrete safely and efficiently to construction projects, company facilities, and customers in industrial and residential areas. Perform daily pre/post-trip inspections, load/unload materials, monitor vehicle gauges, maintain mileage logs, and follow DOT and company safety policies. Follow dispatch instructions, help maintain product quality, perform minor servicing and upkeep, and keep predictable attendance while operating heavy equipment under varying conditions.

Key Responsibilities

•Transport ready mix concrete to construction projects, company facilities, and customers as dispatched.
•Perform daily pre/post-trip inspections and maintain required documentation per DOT guidelines.
•Load and unload equipment/materials; monitor vehicle gauges during operation.
•Maintain daily vehicle mileage logs and keep the vehicle clean and in orderly condition.
•Follow safety procedures and company policies, obey applicable laws, and perform minor servicing/maintenance (refer major issues to supervisor).

Key Requirements

•Minimum high school diploma or GED required.
•2+ years of experience driving mixer truck preferred.
•Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a CDL A or CDL B license.
•Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screen, and criminal background check, and to maintain a valid DOT medical card.
•Ability to learn mixer truck operations, safely operate heavy equipment, and follow verbal/written instructions.
