Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform cleaning, monitoring, and securing operations to assist in set-up of vacuum atomization and rotary atomization furnaces.
  • •Load charge into crucibles to ensure amount, type, and elements match specifications, and follow instructions before and after pours and during atomization.
  • •Assist in preparing raw material charges, running the furnace control board, performing minor repairs, cleaning the atomization chamber, and carrying out housekeeping.
  • •Support removal and replacement of coils and cleaning the interior of the furnace chamber; transport and manage charge and equipment connections as directed.
  • •Support continuous improvement and CORE/EH&S initiatives, wear required personal protective equipment, and refer difficulties to supervisors or team leaders.
