Job Summary

Lead a small team of Decision Engineers (AI software engineers) building AI-powered tools and decision systems to improve manufacturing and supply chain workflows. •Lead a small team of Decision Engineers by setting technical direction and owning the bar for what ships.
•Still build hands-on by personally shipping the highest-leverage AI tools and agents for manufacturing and supply chain workflows.
•Identify highest-impact AI augmentation opportunities and turn them into shipped tools with measurable productivity gains.
•Design and maintain shared AI infrastructure, including AGENTS.md and SKILLS.md.
•Grow engineers through review, direction, and hiring, and partner with leadership to translate goals into an AI tooling roadmap.

Key Requirements

•7+ years of software engineering experience with 2+ years leading a team while still coding.
•Track record shipping production systems in supply chain, manufacturing, logistics, or automation domains.
•Production-grade code in Go, Python, and TypeScript, with full-stack web app experience (React, Next.js or similar).
•Hands-on experience building applications with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, or open-weight models), creating/using MCP servers, and agentic frameworks.
•Deep understanding of AI coding agent tools such as Claude Code and Cursor, with technical depth to review architecture and unblock engineers.
