Job Summary

Maintain and troubleshoot the plant’s electrical, instrumentation, and automation systems to ensure reliability and integrity. Perform advanced installation, calibration, documentation, maintenance, and repair across PLC/DCS/QCS controls, UPS systems, drives, motor control, and radiation/instrumentation compliance. Support the Electric Shop with troubleshooting, planned and emergency repairs, and shutdown/outage work, and assist with specialized equipment and project planning.

Key Responsibilities

•Ensure the integrity and reliability of the plant’s electrical, instrumentation, and automation systems.
•Perform advanced installation, diagnosis, calibration, documentation, maintenance, and repair of electrical, instrumentation, and control systems.
•Provide Electric Shop support including troubleshooting, call-ins, unscheduled overtime, scheduled and emergency repairs, shutdown and outage work, and projects.
•Support specialized equipment and project planning.
•Maintain and troubleshoot PLC, automation, and controls for the paper mill and power plant, including DCS/QCS computer systems, UPS systems, and relevant instrumentation compliance.

Key Requirements

•Must have a journeyman electrician card for the job position.
•Associate Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or at least 5 years of experience installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting industrial electrical controls and systems.
•High voltage experience.
•Strong knowledge of piping and instrument diagrams, wiring diagrams, panel drawings, one-line drawings, loop sheets, and wire lists.
•Proficient in computer controls software and able to use MS Office products.
