Key Responsibilities

•Assist in implementing network security controls (firewalls, IPS/IDS, proxies) including configurations and access control lists under supervision.
•Support network segmentation (including VLAN configurations) and help with secure remote access via VPN deployments.
•Deploy and configure security technologies such as SIEM and endpoint protection; help integrate tools and troubleshoot basic issues with guidance.
•Apply security hardening standards for servers, workstations, and network devices; implement CIS Benchmark configurations and document compliance status.
•Monitor security alerts/events, assist with initial incident triage and investigations, and produce technical documentation, diagrams, runbooks, and status reports.

Key Requirements

•2–4 years’ experience in IT infrastructure, networking, or systems administration.
•1–2 years exposure to security technologies and practices, including hands-on work with network devices and security tools.
•Basic understanding of network security principles; familiarity with firewall concepts and configuration (e.g., Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, Fortinet).
•Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating system security, including CIS Benchmark-style hardening concepts.
•Security+ (or equivalent) is mandatory, and Network+ or CCNA is required or in progress.
