Key Responsibilities

  • •Own end-to-end program operations and quality lifecycle for Surgical Technology and Sterile Processing across didactic, skills lab, and clinical education components.
  • •Protect and monitor outcome thresholds (certification pass rates, graduation rates, job placement) and run ongoing program evaluation using data to drive improvements.
  • •Hire, onboard, and manage full-time and contractor/adjunct instructor teams; set quality/performance standards and lead performance calibration.
  • •Serve as the primary point of contact for healthcare employer partners across multiple states; lead site visits and clinical skills calibration to ensure practice readiness.
  • •Partner with curriculum and enterprise teams to strengthen content, support student success, and improve program workflows (including experimenting with AI tools).

Key Requirements

  • •3+ years of experience teaching surgical technology, including course delivery, assessment, and student support.
  • •Active NBSTSA Certified Surgical Technologist or NCCT TS-C certification.
  • •5+ years of clinical or operational experience in surgical technology, sterile processing, or a related surgical services field.
  • •2+ years of healthcare education/training program administration or clinical operations experience with instructional oversight, with regulatory or certification compliance preferred.
  • •Demonstrated team leadership experience, including contractors/adjunct instructors, with experience working with enterprise healthcare employer partners.
