Key Responsibilities

•Drive architectural decisions and design scalable, robust systems with deep technical leadership in distributed systems and cloud infrastructure
•Serve as the primary technical liaison with regulatory bodies; answer regulatory questions, ensure system compliance with frameworks, and translate regulatory requirements into technical roadmaps
•Manage delivery commitments, drive incident readiness, and ensure operational excellence across teams and products
•Build trusted relationships with external stakeholders (regulators, clients, partners); communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences and serve as trusted advisor
•Collaborate with Product, Business, and Compliance teams to solve complex problems, shape product strategy, and align on mission-critical initiatives
•Drive continuous improvement in code quality, system reliability, and team capability

Key Requirements

•10+ years of software product engineering experience, preferably in cloud computing, SaaS, fintech, regulated environments, or eCommerce; 3+ years leading engineering teams
•Hands-on backend/infrastructure/full-stack experience with modern tech stacks (Java/Spring Boot, microservices, AWS, Kafka, MySQL)
•Demonstrated experience in regulated industries or with compliance frameworks; ability to translate regulatory requirements into technical solutions
•Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills; comfortable engaging with executives, regulators, and cross-functional teams
•Proven ability to mentor, coach, and develop high-performing engineers; track record of scaling teams and building engineering culture
