Job Summary

Technical leader focused on planning, design, and delivery of high-voltage overhead transmission line projects up to 765 kV. Drives project schedules, coordinates with clients and multi-disciplinary teams, ensures QA/QC adherence, supports PM processes, and mentors staff while leveraging PLS-CADD and related design tools in a hybrid Southeast US role.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead and execute the engineering of transmission projects up to 765kV.
•Lead and/or support the initial project execution layout to ensure an efficient and effective project plan.
•Create and maintain a project schedule and conduct weekly/bi-weekly project meetings.
•Coordinate with clients on project status and support project meetings as necessary.
•Maintain project workflow and communication across multi-disciplinary projects, both internal and external to WSP.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
•5 to 7 years of relevant post-education experience in engineering
•Engineer in Training Certification
•Understanding of the NESC, RUS, and/or GO-95
•Strong understanding of transmission line fundamentals and PLS-CADD; proficient with project scheduling and MS Office
