Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide maintenance and repair of complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on rental and customer equipment and tools using independent judgment.
  • •Use technology (laptops and tablets) to create, assign, and monitor work orders, track machine service intervals, order parts, and diagnose issues using data across many equipment makes/models.
  • •Practice safe job practices for repairing equipment and maintain complete daily paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed (work orders).
  • •Assist in training lower-level technicians as needed and help with pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts.
  • •When required, travel to customer job sites for repair/maintenance of rental or customer-owned equipment and keep the service vehicle clean and professional.

Key Requirements

  • •Own tools applicable to the position and have advanced mechanical aptitude with working knowledge of tools.
  • •Have extensive knowledge of construction equipment, with an advanced understanding of schematics and diagrams.
  • •Provide superior customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication skills.
  • •Have a High School diploma (trade school certificate preferred) and experience in field service, maintenance, and repair (preferred).
  • •Hold a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record; must be at least 21 years old to operate a company vehicle.
