Job Summary

Join a small, well-funded Engineering team as the first dedicated AI/Backend Engineer to own and evolve the LLM orchestration pipeline. You’ll design multi-agent systems, enable low-latency streaming, build production APIs, and shape the platform from prototype to enterprise-scale, working directly with the CTO on architecture and IP development.

Key Responsibilities

•Own the AI pipeline: design and optimize multi-agent orchestration system, implement parallelization and streaming to reduce latency, and build prompt management with versioning and A/B testing
•Build RAG systems: design retrieval-augmented generation, work with vector databases, embeddings, and relevance scoring, optimize for speed and accuracy at scale
•Develop production APIs: build developer-friendly APIs connecting AI capabilities to frontend, plan for CRM/tool integrations, implement authentication and rate limiting
•Shape the foundation: establish code review practices and testing standards, document architecture decisions, contribute to IP development
•Collaborate with CTO and cross-functional teams to translate technical decisions into scalable product features
