Job Summary

Implement and monitor project HSE plans to ensure site activities meet HSEMS requirements. Conduct task hazard analysis, evaluate unsafe conditions, and recommend control measures while investigating incidents and near-misses. Support emergency response procedures, deliver HSE and first-aid training, and run daily toolbox talks and site inductions. Maintain daily/weekly/monthly HSE reporting, oversee inspections and risk assessments, and support HSE initiatives aligned with company/IMS policies.

Key Responsibilities

•Monitor execution of HSE activities on a project to ensure requirements are met under the project HSE plan and HSEMS.
•Develop and implement emergency response procedures and evacuation plans for field locations.
•Provide HSE and first-aid training and run safety awareness activities to improve safety practices.
•Identify hazards and unsafe conditions daily, raise observation reports, and record corrective measures and recommendations.
•Maintain HSE performance reporting (daily/weekly/monthly), ensure site inductions, conduct toolbox talks, and oversee inspections, risk assessments, and incident reporting/resolution.

Key Requirements

•5+ years of working experience, with 3 years of relevant working experience.
•Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Engineering.
•Diploma in NEBOSH or related technical certificates.
•Proficiency conducting risk assessments and hazard analyses and developing mitigation strategies.
•Ability to investigate accidents/incidents/near-misses and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
